Visiting Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary is one of the great things to do in Cornwall.   Nestled into the side of the south Cornish coast between Looe and Seaton, the Sanctuary has been offering a safe haven for monkeys since 1964.

This Cornwall animal Sanctuary cares for a range of different species of rescued monkeys, giving visitors an intimate insight into a working sanctuary. There’s a lot to do for the whole family who can take a tour of the monkey enclosures and learn about these fascinating animals from the team of expert keepers, making it an excellent day out in Cornwall.

Understandably the Monkey Sanctuary is not dog friendly as dogs would stress the Monkeys. This also includes guide dogs, but if people who usually use a guide dog would like to visit the Sanctuary and would need further assistance to do so without their dog then The Sanctuary can help make other arrangements if you telephone prior to your visit.

Cafes In Cornwall The Tree Top CafeOverlooking The Monkey Sanctuary grounds, the Tree Top Café serves a selection of delicious vegetarian food.  Enjoy your meal in the sunshine on the decking, in the grassy picnic area beside the fragrant herb garden, or dine under the canopy surrounded by rainforest creatures.  You don’t have to be visiting the Sanctuary to stop off and enjoy their tasty menu. 

The Tree Top Café an eco-friendly establishment and endeavors to use local suppliers (thus supporting the Cornish economy and saving energy on transport), fair-trade products, produce as little waste as possible and to recycle the waste they do produce.

Tasty menu options include home-made pasty with pickle & side salad or veggie burgers topped with a choice of onion & tomato or hot jalapeno peppers & cooling salsa or roasted portobello mushroom.
