Looe Cornwall

Sand beach backed by the harbor wall and large stone steps which people enjoy sitting on. Looe beach is in the centre of East Looe near the lifeboat station and has good facilities with cafes, take aways and toilets nearby. We don't think there is parking near Looe beach, park in the main Looe car parks and walk, although you maybe able to drive quite close to drop someone off. Nice beach to visit and combine with a day out in Looe Cornwall For some reason dogs are never allowed on this beach in Cornwall, not even in winter.

It is now part of the Mount Edgcumbe Country Park as is its neighbouring beach Cawsand. Set about 16 miles from Looe there is a carpark in the village which also has shops, cafes and pubs as well as toilets (unsure of opening times). Kingsand hit the news in 2014 when the horrendous storms damaged the lovely clock which stood on the edge of the beach.
