Lands End Cornwall - Legendary Destination - Visit the end of the land! Walk the blustery Cornish coastal path or follow one of the marked scenic walks. View the wildlife inhabiting Lands End including rare birds, possibly adders and if you are lucky basking sharks swimming in the sea below the magnificent cliffs. Lands End has an RSPB Wildlife Discovery Centre and information trail for more information.

You can walk along the coast path from Lands End to Sennen Cove Cornwall, a walk with spectacular views, although difficult underfoot in many parts and there are steep steps in and out of Sennen.

There is no real village at Land's End, but the scenery is magnificent. There is an area with built attractions, which are paid for, and a few souvenir shops if this is what you are looking for, otherwise you can avoid this and enjoy the countryside. Land's End can get very busy in the summer months.

There is a large car park, quite expensive in the summer and cheaper out of season although more expensive with the new changes, toilets, disabled toilets and a pub and a hotel open all year and cafes and take aways open in the summer season. Dogs on leads are allowed around Lands End (except in exhibitions, catering and retail).

In the summer months the paid for attractions are open, whether you will like these depends on your taste. There are things like (well they were at the time of writing please check directly with Lands End what is showing before your visit) Dr Who Up Close an exhibition containing many actual props, monsters and costumes featured in the hit BBC program. Return to the Last Labyrinth, a multi sensory show tacking you on a journey of monsters, pirates, smugglers, wreckers and King Arthur and his brave knights. Lands End also shows the The End to End Story where you can here the experiences of those who have undertaken the incredible journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Air Sea Rescue SOS where you can brace yourself for a crew’s eye view of the action filmed above the treacherous waters of Land’s End.
