Cadgwith is a Picture book harbour village on the Lizard Peninsula. Cute cottages, some made from local serpentine with thatched roofs, spill out from Cadgwith harbour.

The village of Cadgwith is small but there is a pub in the centre, a couple of cafes and gallery / gift shops and for walkers Cadgwith offers good access to the coast path. There are benches on the cliffs above the Cadgwith Cornwall harbour from where the views out to sea are amazing - an ideal picnic spot.

Cadgwith CornwallThe car park for Cadgwith Cornwall is a short and nice walk out of the village following a path alive with birds. The village can be difficult to navigate by car and there is very little parking, unless you will have difficulty with the walk I would recommend the car park.

Cadgwith lies on the Lizard Peninsula. Nearby villages on the Lizard to visit are Lizard village itself, the pretty harbour of Coverack or Gweek known for the Seal Sanctuary.
