The Bude Farmers and Craft Market is on The Canal Wharf at Bude which also has eateries such as cafes, tea rooms, ice-cream stands, The Brendon Arms public house serving good local beer and lovely food, and The beautiful Falcon Hotel. There are various workshops housing local artisans spreading all the way from just by the sea lock gates right along the canal side to the road bridge. You can hire a rowing boat or pedaloe and explore the canal further inland, or walk along the various footpaths into the wildlife reserve. You can feed the ducks and swans and watch the Cormorant fishing and sunning itself on the canal side. Finally is Bude Castle housing the Museum and often exhibitions of local artists' work. The Bude Wharf offers a great day out but make sure you go on a FRIDAY when the market is on to make sure you get the best out of your day.
