Coverack Art Club Summer Exhibition

Coverack Harbour by artist Ingrid Sofrin Coverack Art Exhibiton Event

Coverack is well represented when it comes to art. A number of professional artists live and work here or nearby. There is an art gallery in the centre of the village and a thriving Arts Club.

The Summer Coverack Art Exhibition will take place from Friday July 29th to Sunday 7th August 2016 in Lambeage Hall, Coverack. There is always an excellent and varied display of works, most of which are available to purchase on the day. This Cornwall event is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Admission is free and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

The work exhibited at the event is usually of a high standard and covers most mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolours and pencil drawing. There are always a variety of styles from landscapes, portraits, realist and abstract. Often, one of the artists will be on hand to chat to and there is usually a raffle of one of the member’s paintings.

Coverack is a beautiful fishing harbour on the stunning Lizard Peninsula Cornwall and provides a great day out for all the family. The Lambeage Hall, just up from the Paris hotel and overlooking the sea, is an excellent venue for the Art Club's highly popular and well-attended exhibitions.
