Lizard Village Cornwall is set at the wind swept tip of the Lizard Peninsula and is Britain's most Southerly point. Coverack Cornwall is a picturesque old fishing village set on the Lizard peninsula and known to be an old smugglers hide out. Coverack has a shingle and sand beach, rocks with rock pools and a walled harbour. There are facilities but limited out of season. More information about Coverack Cornwall

Perranporth Cornwall has an amazing three mile long golden sandy beach fringed by sand dunes and is enjoyed by families, beach goers and is popular with surfers. Perranporth is one of the few beaches allowing dogs all year round. Actually in North Cornwall, but near the boarder so included here also. Good facilities in the town. Portreath Cornwall is a holiday village with harbour and sandy beach. Portreath is popular with families and surfers. Backed by steep cliffs and the sea wall the beach is quite sheltered and facilities are good. More information on Portreath Cornwall.
St Just
Cornwall
St Just Cornwall is in between Penzance Cornwall and Land's End Cornwall and is the most westerly town in Cornwall. The surrounding windswept countryside does give the feel of a place on the edge! St Just has good facilities and the surrounding countryside is popular with walkers and photographers. More information about St Just Cornwall.
West Cornwall has some fantastic places to visit and really does have something for everyone. The long golden beaches of Gwithian, Godrevy and Hayle. Beautiful St Ives with beaches, harbour and popular with artists. Mount's Bay with the back drop of St Michael's Mounts, busy town of Penzance, Marazion with beach and lots of galleries, beautiful harbour of Mousehole famous for the Mousehole Cat and the Fishing port of Newlyn. The town of Falmouth has lots to see and the wild Lizard peninsula a real opportunity to get away from it all.
